Penang Trip 4th-8th Sept'08

Boy I have close to 200 pictures taken from our holiday in Penang. Though it rained more than shined, we managed to have some fun in the sun and ate some yummy food.

Sharing with you selected pictures of the beach and hotel (which we stayed in the first 3 nights).

We stayed at Lone Pine Hotel, Batu Feringghi - the hotel is a bit too old for our liking. Lots of mosquitoes waiting in front of our doorstep. Their concept is like individual rooms with private gardens (good place for mozzys) and patio. Complimentary breakfast was lousy! Worst hotel breakfast buffet I've ever had. I believe the food they serve is at least 2 days' old. And the price of the rooms are way too high. RM230++... just not worth it.

I notice that in Penang, stray dogs have dog licenses on them. These dogs are in such pitiful condition. Wonder why the owners don't take care of them. The two dogs in the above picture were running past us. They were as close as 1 meter frm us and they didn't even bother to stop for a sniff.
