Hubby's 40th Birthday

Oh wow... it has been 2 months since my last post. Where did all my time go?? Mal's birthday came and went, and soon I will be celebrating my birthday, a month later sunny boy's and then it's Christmas!!! How I missed last year's Christmas :) It's gonna be a busy end of the year.

Just a quick post, with lots of pictures on how we celebrated beloved hubby's 40th birthday on the 1st August! Good thing it was a Saturday, that means I didn't have to cook and we get to pig out :)

my first attempt at chocolate banana boozy ice-cream the nite before. Very easy, no need to take in and out of the fridge a few times. just one blend and it goes into the fridge for 4 hours and it's ready to enjoy.


did you miss sunny boy? haha.. he has grown quite a bit more in the past 3 months. He is dissapointed here that he cannot have any ice-cream at all, coz of the alcohol ;)

Baked a butterscotch banana cheesecake. Super yummy!

We had lunch at Jarrod & Rawlins, Damasara Heights , first time there, good food and the environment was special enough to kick start the celebration.

special chicken burger for Mal- no big deal, Hard Rock Cafe's burgers are still #1 ;)

salmon wrap for me - the salmon and salad were healthy, but not the cream cheese inside, NOT

creamy pesto pasta with poached egg for sunny boy -delicious, but too creamy with the egg yolk

We went back again to have lunch the next day and realized the price is too high for what you get. The portions are too small for us big eaters.

Next.... dinner at my favourite restaurant, which deserves a post on its own ;)
