Then came hubby's 40th birthday, 1st August! What better place to dine with good food and wine, romantic setting, ample parking space, great friendly and efficient staffs? ;)
Let's see what we ordered that nite...
to start off, we had ....Sangria - the BEST! and the bread with olive and oil dip - really good
tapas - Poach asparagus with bearnaise sauce, a little bland in taste and the portion was way tooo small, I know it's a tapas, but still...
tapas - marsala lamb - soft and tender meat, good flavour
Main - oxtail pasta, I love this, fall-off-the-bone oxtail (doneness varies each time you order) and the sauce is just delicious ;)Main (yes another main!) - vegetarian paella, what I love about Cava's paella is their chilli padi paste. So spicy and it goes so well with the paella.
last of all, the "chocolate dream". On the house (because they knew it was hubby's birthday!) How nice huh? Needless to say, we finished all the food and I was again satisfied with a full tummy and a "gosh-I-should-never-allow-myself-to-overeat-anymore" promise ;)
If you have not been to Cava, please do so now. ASAP!!!! Visit their website for the menu, location and phone number. It is advisable that you make a reservation on weekends.
