Our 4th Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday and today marks our 4th year being husband & wife. We were officially registered as man and woman on the 20.05.2005, and then the following day we had a church ceremony. Therefore we get to celebrate our anniversary twice a year :)

Went to Alexis in Bangsar Shopping Complex. This was our first time there and we were pretty pleased with the food although the main course portion were too small for the price we had to pay.





Starter... sunny boy loved the hummus dip.



Sunny boy's main course - meatballs were 100% beef but too salty. The sauce wasnt too bad

My main course, medium-well was really good but for RM62? Only 2 tiny bones of lamb?? Give me Las Carretas anytime ;)

Mal's main... very good too. Crisp and seared on the outside, super soft and slightly raw inside. A cross between sashimi salmon and grilled salmon. Cant remember the price...something like RM4x.xx I think. Also barely enough to fill him up.

my favourite dessert of all time - tiramisu. This is the cake-type tiramisu, the topping of caramelled nuts were really sweet so it goes very well with the strawberry sauce.

While we were halfway thru our meal, sunny boy decided to draw a certain someone. I asked him if he could draw me... this is what he came up with...

Yippee!! His first ever drawing of his mommy "meow" He will be 3 1/2 years old tomorrow (22may) and isnt that awesome?? Nevermind I'm missing 2 legs or that I have hair growing on my face, or that I have an ear-ring with no ear. I believe every parent will feel proud and happy when their child draws a figure of them for the first time ;)

I wondered if he could draw daddy while he's at it...
Haha daddy "doo" has a bigger head and bigger eyes. And it looks like daddy is looking at mommy isnt it? Then he drew himself in between us. I asked him "How come you have long hair?" He replies "The wind is blowing my hair" Isnt that a good answer?? What a good observation as well :) So very proud of him!

And so that ends our anniversary celebration.
